Towed home my latest project...a 20' pontoon! I see lower gears in the future. She looses steam up hills with the 32s and boat

 

up to cape cod and back

 

New rear air struts, new SLS compressor, new slotted/drilled rotors and pads, and installed the factory CD changer for a little more entertainment.

 

Made some new lower front shock mounts. These will move the eye mount back about 1/2". This should eliminate the shocks rubbing the front of the cones just a little.

 

Understatement of the year...

 

Finished HG repalce, work is a B! Damn truck won't start, might be low fuel pres.

 

This week I:

- Got a lincoln weldpak 100. Gonna start a crash course in welding for my floors.

- Bondo-ed the big holes in my cargo area

- Drained my seafoam oil and dropped and cleaned my oil pan. Very good thing I did this...

You know what can cause intermittent low oil pressure? When your pickup is only held on by one bolt and the other one is floating in the pan. Very glad I caught this before going on any long rides.

 

3rd day in a row working on wierd stalling issue.

 

truck survived the trip to helen and back, bout 2 1/2-3 hours each way.

 

drove around a bit in the woods. nothing too crazy, but the weather was great!
