Been going on lots road trips and desert exploring recently so this week I gave it some new terrafirma shocks, and air filter. The junkyard near me got a new rover aswell, so I grabbed an oil filter to radiator oil hose that leaks less and an jump seat. Stoked!

In the past few weeks I replaced the rear sway bar mount bushings which were missing completely, also the link bushings. Last week I changed the fuel pump as a prophylactic measure since this truck has 178000 miles on it, 174000 of which i know not the history. It was easy, the hardest part was getting the compression ferrules off the old tubes and on the new. Will be replacing other common fail items as I go along.

On the flip side, at least your Rover was kind enough to wait until you received your return.

Almost finished my rear storage unit with fridge slide, 50ltr Waeco just fits with my modified handles.
Still need to make a couple of drawers and add carpeted plywood to the top.

I finally decided to re-bolt my big 'off-road' jack back to the stowage box attached to my roof rack. I had taken it off to jack up my surplus military HMMWV a while back but that project is finished now.

Default Saved a few bucks...

These pics will tell it all. I am to tight to spend the $70 each for new rear regulators so here is my $4.54 fix for both.
Had to shave a wee bit off with a grinding tool and drill to get into the channel after opening the end up but was minimal .

$4.54 total

the only dimension i remember is the 2 big ones are 1 inch

note the thickness difference

cut the 2 that are too small internal diameter to fit.

they will bend to get over the cap.

last, super glue the thick one that has the larger hole to the base ..

and you are done.
