Finished up the welding, a little seam sealer and than the undercoating.

Tomorrow I’ll install the trim.

pulled out of the back yard and cleaned the sunroofs, last time I used it, we got dumped on with a torrential downpour and the rear one leaked like crazy. been tarped since. Will be using the Disco this weekend for trailer pulling, the kid is moving to his own place!! Hopefully taking the evil cat with him.

Been a busy day, fixed fan and cleaned, switch only works on position 2, needs new switch I think or good cleaning still, fixed washer squirter, found my power steering leaking on the return hose clamp at the pump😊, got her on the road with a temporary plate till I go in for the safety

in order to avoid cleaning the fan again, put some inexpensive A/C filter material in the slot at the base of the cowl.

Been thrashing on her, fixed rear drivers side door inner handle- wasn’t opening latch, got that same door window working, just had to clean electrical contacts and switches. Trying to glue console switch panel. Lol.

Put my Baby to work today hauling stuff to the Kid's new place to live. only a 45 mile trip but the trailer was a but overloaded, had trouble on a few of the hills, speed dropped by the time I hit the top so I just let it drop. Temp started to climb on the unreliable temp gauge so I backed down a but more and it cooled down. After emptying the trailer and back end, it was fine on the way home... until the CEL came on. My guess is the gas may be the culprit, it is about a year old.Have to plug in the diagnostics tomorrow, Ran fine, no noises, plenty of fluids, probably an O2 sensor error. I have reset them before and they don't return for months of continuous driving. lately it has been sitting more than driving. (retired... me not the truck)

Update CEL was a 430 error, something about cat efficiency on Bank 2.. seen it before and resetting it makes it go away for a few months of driving. Not too worried about it.

Installed FlowKooler water pump in '94, and ERR 3443 fan clutch URO brand from AutoHausAZ. Added a bottle of Hy-Per Cool Supercoolant. Removed rubber hood seal at back of engine compartment.

I run it with the pressure cap loosened, so think I will replace a gallon of 50/50 with a gallon of pure glycol to get the boiling point back up.

Bought another one. '98 non running, sitting for several years in a driveway. Appears PO (passed away) was chasing a fueling issue and must have given up. Fiddled with it for an evening and determined it had to be a stuck open fuel injector. Ordered some Ford
0280155700 0280155700
for $45-ish. Most bestest quaolty #1! from the PRC. They fit, no problems. Primed pump twice. Brought the thunder down and Voilà, Bob's your uncle! I'll get around to getting all the usual stuff taken care of later. Got quite intimate with my '97 over the past 8 years and have dealt with all the usual jazz.

Weird "handle" on plenum came in handy. It's epoxied on.
