Sweet. That bumper mod is the best thing you can do to a stock Disco if you're wheeling it. I almost wish I would've kept mine stock with only the bumper mod. You can go pretty darn far with your truck just like that.

This is my what I need to do to the Disco post...not pictured poly bush's for axle side of DOM johnny jointed rear links, 3.5" front bump stops, 3" RTE springs and RTE radius arms and orange poly bush which should be in route, and 2 more "to be purchased" Rancho RS9000 shocks once I determine length after the arrival of the springs. So many goodies and so little time

ADMIN,
Why did this thread get moved?
It's no wonder there's been NO posts in 5 days in a thread that has 73 pages since March. Its because nobody can find it!
This was a great thread that people could show off the tech work they did on their D1. Now I don't know what it is.
By moving it now people will be posting about what they did to their D2, LR3's and 4's. Stuff I frankly don't care about.
Why, after 6 months, was this thread moved to a new section?
Please move it back to the D1 section where it belongs!! Thank you.

Man I was just trying to keep the DI section nice and clean.
This thread sometimes gets buried a page or two back so I just thought I would move it to where it could stay on the first page.
If you guys want it on the DI page then fine, since you asked so nicely I'll move it back.
And just a FYI, when I moved it I left a "expiring redirect" link that expired one month from when I moved it so it could be found.

I have been a busy dude....

I have sold the 3-link and have my current axles and diffs for sale over on Discoweb and d-90 and I think I may have a buyer for the majority of it.

Why? you may ask... I have started Toyota axle/diff conversion!! I plan to run 37"+ tires and dont want stuff blowing up on me.

Bought a V6 8" rear with Yukon gears and locker. Decided it could use some new gears so ordered some Nitro Gears - staying at 4:10's for now. Also ordered the rest of the rear kit from Rovertracks - new stub axles will be bored to accomodate the custom 30 spline Longfields

The plan for the front is high pinion FJ80 e-locker with 4:10s. Just picked up some castor corrected swivel ***** and Rovertym arms which should make my truck drive like stock.. or as close to stock as possible with a 5" lift.

I also picked up a 1.4 LT230 and a long stick LT77 (which I dont really play to use if anyody is interested)

Last but not least I picked up the Rovertracks high clerance tie rod.. I now have a solid 14 1/2" of clerance under the tube of my front axle. This thing is SWEET.

Jake, less work more wheeling! That thing is going to sweeter(or even sweeter) when done.

Spikey, Sorry for being abrupt. Sometimes I forget my manners. Any way to make this a Sticky?

Haven't been as busy as Jake. But I've bought a D90 brake upgrade from Lucky8, got 20' of 4ga wire and a switch for my compressor, Got a Blue Sea fuse block for the cargo area to run the compressor, an inverter, and some cargo lights off.
Did the rear window ECU bypass today.
Also cut a swithplate to mount the compressor and locker switches to.

Sorry, no sticky Fish, I want to keep the DI page looking nice and clean, one of the reasons I moved it to the Roaming With Friends section, I was going to make it a sticky over there, but then I moved it and forgot about it. lol

Heck yeah. The short side axle shaft splines had a tiny bit of twist, so I got some money back. Ended up getting the axles for $125 shipped.
