Transfer Case Mounts
Has anyone done their transfer case mounts?
On the passenger side one you have to remove the bracket holding the mount to the frame to get at the top nut on the mount itself.
4of the bolts in the bracket go directly into the transfer case, which from what I can tell go straight into the oil cavity. Meaning you need to drain the transfer case and re-seal them. Also meaning someone should be falcon punched for that billiant "engineering".
Can anyone that's done it confirm?

Yep. I posted this in your thread over on DWeb:
How I have gotten that passenger side mount out without removing those four bolts:
1. Loosen the top nut of the rubber mount with open ended wrench. Just break it free.
2. Remove lower nut of the rubber mount.
3. Support the driveline with a floor jack.
4. Remove the frame-side mount bracket.
5. Put wrench back on top rubber mount nut, turn the rubber mount by hand to remove.
6. Retrieve nut with magnet when it falls out of wrench.
Maybe you'll get lucky and it won't fall out as you remove the wrench from behind that plate.
