u joint ?

Default u joint ?

i have a 96 disco on the drive line there are those rubber things connecting the drive shaft to the axle front and back is there any way to put a u joint in their mine has some real small cracks in them and i priced them and they r way to costly was thinking u joints would be cheaper

Discoveries only have a Rotoflex at the rear diff.

Rather than buying a whole new propshaft, you can get a 4-bolt pinion flange (with spacer) and have a driveline shop covert the end of your existing propshaft to a cardan type u-joint.

thanks guys for all info im going try and weld everything my self shuoldnt be that hard i will let u know how it turns out

Just remember welding isn't the hard part balancing it is.
