Default Using a tow bar?

I want to use a tow bar to tow my parts truck. Both vehicles are 1998 Disco. Do I need to remove both drive shafts? Is there a tow bar that you would recommend? Any other issues that I should know about?

I would think that you only have to put trans and case each in neutral if all 4 wheels will be on the ground. If using a dolly, the rear DS s/b removed. This is assuming you're not going a long distance.

according the the owners manual page 94 - put the transferase in neutral, trans in park- key position 1 to unlock the steering, position 2 if you need to use the indicators (with the battery disconnected)

verify this info - I make no warranty of this information.
