Default Waterproofing my ECU

I've been reading posts (especially with the hurricanes of late) about waterproofing certain components on my D1. I can pretty much handle the plug wires and axle breathers, but where is my 'ECU'? I'm gathering that it's my Disco's computer, and that it's mounted outside, under the hood somewhere...can someone point me to it? Sorry to sound lame, but in my last ride, it was under the center console in the passenger compartment, if we're talking about the same thing. I'm not looking to ford any deep rivers, but from what I read, if it gets wet, I'm (here it comes....) dead in the water.

Passenger side, rear of engine compartment, against the fender, about $40 at my salvage yard, I was lucky and got a good one, better to buy from a dismantler

And yes, there was a post on this forum a few days ago with a video of a white Disco fording a flooded area for fun, made across, then decided to come back and died in the middle - then became part of the problem. There have been posts of just a lot of rainy weather causing problems with ECUs.

Lucky 8 offers a service of waterproofing them, encasing them in epoxy.
Here's a thread on doing the same thing.

And if you go the encapsulation route, or the old skool way of spray poly ureathane "varnish" (couple of coats), be sure there is a drain hole that is clear at the bottom of the box, and use dielectric grease on the connectors for the ECU, a soaked connector can take out a the ECU even if it is potted.
