where is the iac???
Can someone please tell me where my iac is located at? I am new to rovers and have not got around to getting a repair book for it yet.

If you've got a V8 D1, it's on the right side of the engine on the plenum side of the MAF. Two small bolts, stock one has a paper gasket. Don't lose it when you take it off. The replacement is pretty cheap and available at local auto parts stores...comes with a rubber o-ring.

FYI, the location of the IACV (stepper motor) varies depending on whether the DI is GEMS or Lucas 14CUX.
1994-95 Lucas 14CUX has the IACV on the passenger side, rear of the plenum.
1996-1999 GEMS has the IACV on the throttle body portion of the plenum next to the TPS just like Keoni says.
