Hey, I'm looking to remove the back seat to do some car camping and allow more storage space. Is it just a matter of removing bolts and sliding it out the rear passenger door? plus i'm guessing to put the bolts back to plug the holes to under the floor boards if they go all the way thru. then I'm looking to build a raised deck to sleep on top and store gear underneath

Pretty much. I dragged one out thinking I could put it in my D1, but gave up and returned it. Here is page from the RAVE. A few twists of the Torx and you are done.
