one day after a fishing trip inoticed iwas leaking p/s fluid and itwas very difficult to turn. after doing some research i added the lucas ps stop leak fluid and its still leaking. I traced the leak to a hose but it seems to leak where the bigger hose meets behind the pulley. How can I access this and/or should i add some more lucas since it says to add up to two bottles? what do yall think?

 

Which model and mileage?
No more lucas, it is time for new hoses if that is where the leak is coming from.

 

its an 03 disco with 80,000 miles. its leaking where the hose fits the 'male' extrusion behind a pulley. If I have to replace the hoses would ihave to order them from british atlantic or an autozone type store and how would i gain access to replace the hose?

one more thing, is it still okay to drive?

 

If you loose too much fluid, you will burn up your pump.

 

To much stop leak will clog your p/s system and burn up your pump too.
Call AutoZone and see if they have the hose, if not go to Atlantic British.

 

With that mileage, I would suggest you replace all 3 hoses so you don't have to tear into it again soon for another leak.
Make sure to only use p/s fluid, not atf like the D1's used.
