Why are people using seat heaters in the summer?
(OK I had to put in one wisecrack).
When the seats superheat - this is from a person flexing the wire
which is the heater element too many times.
The section of wire then gains resistance and super heats burning a hole in the foam and in the leather.
Fixing it may require silver solder.
You can probably twist it together and then add flux.
Use a solder gun - as it is hotter.
Use silver solder for the high melting point.
