2001 and 2004 - do they use the same Door lock?
X1 .............. they are all interchangeable but be sure you have the key fob for them or a good tool to reprogram the keys/BCU. There is a kit to modify to 03/04 lights but it requires some cutting and carving to fit and it ain't cheap to buy. IMHO stick with the lights you've got.
BTW, i did get the 04 grill, headlight, Hood as well. It's going to take me a while before I can start all these. I have the Original front Bumper.
I need to replace rear Bumper. leaning towards the metal one. Anyone have other ideas on replacing the Bumper?
Thanks again for help and suggestion.
Keep both grills. If you decide on a steel front bumper and find a sweet deal, it won't matter what year D2 it fits, as you'll have both grills. 99-02 are notched for the taller grill, 03-04 steel bumpers are not notched, and designed for the shorter grill.
If you keep factory plastic bumper, as you mentioned, the 04 grill will have about a 1 1/2 " gap under it.

Hi Abran
The ignition key has a chip to recognise it in the ignition and the key fob has the proximity chip to unlock the truck and the super lock system. The alarm system is fitted but omits the spacial sensors inside the cabin.
I have an Anglo NAS 'hybrid' D2, it has many UK benefits and some NAS benefits. It is an autobox ES7 without ACE but uses HD anti-roll bars instead but has SLS and is a TD5 diesel. It is also left hand drive, most, not all, standard LR parts fit OK but there are some minor differences. The truck was originally specced to be sent to Patagonia but was a cancelled order so I bought it new and 'cheap' in 2003, about £11K under normal sales price. It is 'de regueur' in France but you rarely see the D2A version, just lots of D1's, RRC's, 1998-2001/2 D2's and many new LR's and many old and new Jaguars.
