We pay a couple of bucks US each for plugs, allows you to change them without regret. At least you are not too far from Sydney, so parts are within reach. Must have been some Yanks in the mix, with the town of Wyoming nearby (lol). Post some pix, all we ever see are Foster's ads....

Hehee... funny you mention that, I actually married a yank from San Diego! I've posted a pic of the Disco on the beach up the road from our house

And, BTW.. thanks to all your advice, the misfiring issue is now FIXED!! Thanks again guys!

Hehee .. but remember, where does LandRover come from? The country that has the steering wheel on the RIGHT side ..

BTW, I still have this cruise control issue. I've replaced the ECU for the Cruise and still no joy. Next step is to replace the vacuum pump and pneumatic activator.. if that doesn't work, do you guys have any other suggestions?

99.8% of the time the cruise does not work because it is full of salt water. lol

Seriously, 99.8% of the time it does not work because of a vacuum leak, start at the brake pedal switch and follow the vacuum line into the engine bay checking for broken/cracked line, replace as needed.
Usually it cracks at the connectors.

Hi Spike! I checked as you suggested but could not find a vacuum line at the brake pedal switch. I checked, Rave and it doesn't suggest there is one there either. I checked all the vacuum lines on the vacuum pump also, but really have no way of testing if the lines are faulty in anyway. Visual inspection shows them to be ok.. I do have a spare one, so I might work on that later this week (fun fun fun!)

Oh and btw.. my avatar pic is of the car driving through fresh water (it had just rained), not salt . I guess when I mentioned we do a bit of beach driving the assumption is that we drive through salt water, but that's not the case.

Here's the electrical plan for the cruise, but cracked vac lines remain a frequent problem, even with an electrical brake switch to dump valve connection.
