If the thermostat isn’t grey or black it’s probably an OEM temp unit and I’d replace it ASAP for the 180F unit (DO NOT get the black 33.00 unit from Lucky8, it isn’t the good Britpart unit they used to sell!!!! It’s a no name piece of crap that does not open at 180F.). Get either the Britpart 180 off LR of Utah’s website or just go with the OEM 180 grey unit from LR, AB, Rovers North.
wow. I just picked up this 69k Mile 2001 Black Beauty from it's original owner..I am definitely interested in any of your preventative maintenance tips and suggestions. Cleanest looking engine I've seen.
But just had to share: even came with the original stuff from Glen Cove Land Rover, including an unopened VHS tape! Haha
Oh yeah, so how do I tell if it has some of these things you all are talking about... I saw chat above about a thermostat and ACE, etc.
