Completed Fins and Things and Hells Revenge today. Hells Revenge was probably one of toughest trails I have been on. Got in over my head a couple of times. Got goaded into doing the escalator. Bad idea. Got stuck and caused some slight body damage and trashed my hilift trying to make it up. Had to anchor to a Jeep up at the top and winch out. Great experience though! The bumper from dark crow designs took a beating but was totally rock solid. Here’s a couple more pictures. Video won’t be posted until I get back. Tomorrow is 60 mile Lockhart basin trail.

Having recently been through that, you might want to a voltage regulator and have it dropped shipped to meet you somewhere. What's the mileage on the current alternator? Seems to me that you're getting ready to need a fresh set of brushes. I wasn't watching battery voltage but mine went quickly, a blink of the battery light one day and a solid light two days later which resulted in a failure 20 miles later.

140k. Going to be hard to get an alternator on such short notice with me traveling around this week. Going to Hurricane Utah on Thursday. Who’s best for quick delivery?

oof, I haven't given escalator a try yet, didn't want to do it without a front locker. I've been seeing a re-opened section of hells revenge that has been closed for the last 15 years or so being open, did you see or run that part?

You can try calling these guys for a voltage regulator, they're in Dallas. https://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/593550.html - ‪(469) 518-0576‬.

Any of the major parts houses can get you an entire alternator within a day or so.

I didn’t see anything shutdown. I think we did the whole thing except tip over challenge. We spent a whole 5 hours on the trail.

A couple more pics from Lockhart Basin trail today. Minimal damage to the rover so far despite taking on some serious obstacles today. Leaking axles seal and low voltage on the alternator.

Epic trip!

BTW, you might want to read up on this regarding your alternator before your trip back: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...ar-out-110660/

How was Lockhart? The tough areas tough or overblown a little?
