94 disco wont start

Had the same problems with a 88 ck1500 and it was the secondary in the coil breaking down.

i put in a new coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. still no dice.... does a 94 discovery have a crankshaft positioning sensor?

No a '94 does NOT have a crank sensor.
It has a distributor cap and rotor.

What have you done to the truck so far?
Checked for spark and replaced a coil but have you done anything else?

i tried all the test you told me to run... i took it to a garage and should find out tonight. i i was thinkin ckp.. guess not so i guess im thinking wiring or ignition switch...

I've had the same problem before and it turned out to be a crank shaft sensor. the ignition coil is also a good bet.

Default It Runs again

I took it in and got it back the next day. It was the rotor and distributor cap. I guess i shoulda looked closer at that... ny ways thanks alot Spike555

Glad she is back on the road and running well again.

Thank you for posting what the final fix was.
Now when someone does a search maybe this will help them.
