Anyone running a catch can?

Since I'm now doing a top end engine refresh, I've reinstalled the Best4x4 PCV mod back onto my IM along with the oil catch container. We'll see how that goes.
whats the purpose of the catch container, as compared to the PCV mod?

the PCV mod doesn't stop oil from getting into the intake. it just slows it down a little but mainly keeps air from the intake from blowing back into the valve cover and engine. it's a one-way valve that only lets the excess air pressure out of the engine and feeds it back into the intake.

the catch can uses a filter to catch the oil and other contaminants and try's to keep them out of the intake.

I ran one and got rid of it. The condensation produced would freeze up in the extreme cold and block the system.
