Anyone running a catch can?
I didn't check my exact mileage when I first installed it but this was after maybe 100 miles of driving.
So you know.... I removed the "Best4x4 mod" metal PCV and installed the original black plastic fitting back into the IM. I thought there might be too much of an air restriction with the new oil catch container and the PCV mod which might blow out a rear engine seal.
Since I'm now doing a top end engine refresh, I've reinstalled the Best4x4 PCV mod back onto my IM along with the oil catch container. We'll see how that goes.

the PCV mod doesn't stop oil from getting into the intake. it just slows it down a little but mainly keeps air from the intake from blowing back into the valve cover and engine. it's a one-way valve that only lets the excess air pressure out of the engine and feeds it back into the intake.
the catch can uses a filter to catch the oil and other contaminants and try's to keep them out of the intake.
