I am rebuilding the interior and a few pozidriv bots--the ones that hold the center console--got stripped. Also, some the nuts are quite old and I am thinking of replace those components. Here is the question: where do I find suitable alternatives? I don't feel like hunting for each nut and bolt. Where would I find the specs? Are there any assorted third-party kits that will be suitable for Disco 2?
By the way, if you have Tuff Rok Cubby Safe could you please let me know the specs for the bolts that came w it? It will solve a few issues ;-)
More specifically, does anyone know the thread spec of this cage nut that keeps the console mounted to the body? There are four of these nuts two up front below the transfer case lever and two in the cubby.
If those cage nuts are ok I wouldn't change them. As for the rest, your local big box hardware store or Fastenal should have whatever you need. I'd just take in the bolts you plan to replace and match them up. They'll all be metric, of course.
