battery dead, key hole broken
Send me your number and I'll walk you thru how to get in.
Ok. So after trying to jump the battery from the starter cable and not succeeding I pulled out the driver side headlight and stripped the hood release cable down through the rubber and snipped the metal surrounding the cable enough to pull on it and I got the hood to pop. But now after charging my battery I have this wild clicking noise while starting and a buzzing noise from the dash but the engine does not even attempt to turn over. Any ideas?
I'd get a voltmeter on that battery; "wild clicking noise" while trying to crank is -- generally -- that your battery voltage is too low, and as soon as the solenoid pulls in to try to crank, the voltage drops far enough that the solenoid drops out again; lather, rinse, repeat.
I think the minimum crank voltage is supposed to be something like 9.6vdc.
Even freshly "charged", you battery may have had a cell short out or otherwise go dead.
