Best Code Reader to Buy for 2000 Disco 2
I purchased one of these Autel AL619 a few years ago after doing extensive research on this forum and others, it does everything except reprogram a LR and bleed the ABS pump. It's been great. After you purchase it, you then download all the info onto the unit, takes about an hour to get it done. It's been great.
I've got an iLand scanner tool. I was unable to load it on my iphone, but was able to on an old android phone. It does quite a bit and will program remotes for the D2. I've used it so far for ABS bleeds, trouble shooting the cruise control system, and shut off the SLS after the rear spring conversion. The only downside is there's no user manual, with all the different menu items, it can take some time to get where you want to work on.
Yes, it will. I had a 520 pro for a short time, but returned it due to what I think were software glitches. The seller preferred to give a refund vs. trying to fix the issues. I had to pay the return shipping. Caveat emptor.
Instead of creating a new thread, I'm here to report that the Foxwell NT 630 successfully CLEARS ABS CODES. I was able to resolve my 3 Amigos by using this scanner to diagnose the issues, perform wiring fixes and Option B bypass, and finally clear them in the system with the 630.
