I just had this same issue. I was not able to find the carrier cheaply, $80 on this side of the pond was the cheapest. So I cut off the end of the pin that protruded from the carrier, clamped the carrier in a small drill press, center punched the pin that was stuck and started drilling with small bits up to large. I was able to finally get the old pin out only after drilling to almost 100% of the brass insert size. But I got it done and once my new pins arrive I will reinstall the front brakes with a lot of high temp grease on the sliders!
