Default Brake / Cruise Control Issue

Yesterday my cruise control stopped working, and my wife said that my brake lights appear to be on constantly. Would this be a brake light switch issue? If so, I'm seeing two different parts online - a brake pedal light switch and a harness brake light switch. Any suggestions on figuring out which may be the culprit? Thanks,

Steve

It is indeed the brake light switch preventing the cc from working. I'm guessing it is the brake pedal light switch as that is what is used on most cars to disengage the cc. My jetta does the same thing occasionally.

not sure. i'm guessing it is down near the brake pedal as it is on most cars. check this link: http://www.landroverresource.com/doc...hop_Manual.pdf. if this doesn't get you the answer, it is likely in one of the links at this site: http://www.landroverresource.com/index.html.

good luck!

You can order them at your local auto parts store.
