Default Burning Oil

ok so here it is, another problem. I have realized that there were no good Land Rover mechanics, so I had to take it to the dealership because I had no time to deal with this and it is my daily driver. They had swapped an o2 sensor for me and it was great for 5 months. Another mechanic did my headgaskets 3 weeks before that, and yes it took him 3 weeks to do. But now i have a problem. Same mechanic says now im leaking oil at my lower intake manifold gasket. Thats fine, ordered the part, but to my disbelief the part is metal. After 6k miles how am I now leaking oil from a gasket that was just replaced? Has anyone else come across this? what about maybe shotty work by the mechanic? thoughts?

I am losing it- i have noticed drips of oil on the ground before. Another thing is that the oil is- i guess dripping down the exhaust and got into the o2 sensor causing it to go bad.

Go buy a 12 point 8mm socket and tighten the valve cover bolts, these need to be snugged back up at every oil change because they work loose and leak oil onto the exhaust and what nots.
Just worry about the ones you can reach with the socket.
I think that will solve most of your oil leak.
