2000 LR Disco. Getting a CD-Error message on the radio screen, then after attempting to eject the cartridge (under the seat) I get a "no magazine" message.

Any ideas on how to remove it? Thinking one of the CDs is out, stuck inside the player (hence preventing ejection).

Can you push it back in? If not there is most likely a CD stuck in the middle or a stuck tray in the magazine. If pushing it in doesn't fix it your best bet is to remove it from under the seat, and take the cover off to visually inspect it.

 

Yea i've got the exact same problem. Do you take it out from the back of the seat?

 

In order to get it out easily remove the lower trim under the seat. Then disconnect it from the rear and just slide it out the front. Bracket is held into place with 4 10mm nuts.

 

I had the same problem a while back. I found that by pushing on the CD magazine and pressing the eject button at the same time it would pick up the stuck CD and then eject the whole magazine. When mine died, all I was take out the four nuts holding it down with a ratchet. I did not remove any trim, and came at from the back side.
