Default code wait

My son killed the battery by leaving lights on . Took awhile to jump start . Okay . So now when I turn radio on , after land rover logo appears , as usual , it shows me "code wait". What the heck is that? Now what ? How much longer do I have to wait ?

What year is your D2? The newer ones need a specific code inputted.
RapidRadioCodes.co.uk can get you your code for £5.

I have the code number. It won't let me enter it.

I fixed it . Usually "Code" pops up and I just enter code numbers . This time I had to keep radio on for 10 minutes , then enter my code .

I’m glad you got it. I doubt that that’s the way it’s supposed to work.
