It's probably the head gasket at that mileage you are due anyway

If you are going to pull the heads, make check for wear on the rocker shafts, rockers, lifters and cam lobes because at your mileage you may be showing some wear.

Thanks Mike . . . Found a place that will take engine out, machine head, replace head gasket, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, replace electrical, etc . . . . for 3,200 . . .

Will have them inspect rocker, lifter, etc then . . .

Now you know where not to take it, talk about charging.
A good Rover mechanic will do the head gaskets, heads and inspection for around $1800 or so.
We should talk before you make a move.
