Thanks Buzz,
It is all going hand in hand with my other post...searching the leak in my cooling system. wanted to make sure there was no trick to remove the Dexcool, that attachment says it all

that's a ridiculously complex and messy procedure. i really don't want to do that. i'm sure the rad shop won't do it right tho.

Slang, you need to trust the rad shop. The guys that work on the big ones for bull dozers and such and make their money on the large stuff that costs the owner a great deal of money when it is down. If a contractor is looking at being late on a job, he'll pay to fix or he has to rent one. Otherwise he'll pay liquidated damages for every day late, and risks having his performance bond called. Radaitor shops know this and make more money on those rush jobs. But because they pulled the contractor out of the fire he keeps coming back. Our baby radiators are something they do while waiting on parts to arrive. If you go somewhwere that just does cars and light trucks, the MSRP of the Disco scares them into raising the price. On heavy equipment, the MSRP of the Disco would maybe cover an attachment.

well at least I am armed with the info on how to do it right. thanks. the guy is good i think and last time i went he had two D2's in the shop so maybe you're right. as you know we do things different here....
