DII Diff fill plugs

Rovahfarm has them for $3.99. It's the D1 radiotor plug. You'll need to use different washers though. There's a thread about this about a month back.

Why not just get the actual drain/fill plug? They're like $6 a pop and no washers required. I bet you could contact Paul Grant or another parts jockey and get them cheeeeeeeap.

Because they are plastic on the D2.

i just did the differential fluid change and put in the fill plugs from rovahfarm. my dad had a box of o-rings and we just chose one that fit.

was really easy and for the price a no brainer for me. stronger & sexier

Yeah, I meant get the metal ones instead. Is there a reason one of these wouldn't work?

Like Spike said any drain/fill plug from a D1/RRC should work. That's why I suggested going to a used parts guy. Heck, I've got a couple extra I think!

I run them on my truck as well. FILL PLUG RADIATOR TDI V8 1989 ON BRASS, PLC997, ERR4686 - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

Rover parts of Utah had them; probably still is selling them.
