I don't think it was ever standard or an option and if your makes a noise from outside, then the previous owner installed an after market alert.

you need to have it hooked up to determine which sensor got damaged.

if it goes off all the time then something is grounding but still get it diagnosed.

So if you disconnect one sensor at a time then test the reverse funtion, do you need to jumper the wires when it is disconnected to see if that particular sensor was the issue or leave the thing disconnected?
