Default Disco SAI sounds like idling motorboat

So this is a problem Ive had for awhile... I eventually just unplugged the vacuum canister to the SAI and that stopped but I through a few codes before all this... mainly O2 codes... * changing out faulty O2 and cleaning connectors when engine cools down... now back to SAI .... my pump doesn't sound bad... but I get this odd sound... when everything is plugged up properly, I get this sound at idle and gets faster as engine revs up... it sound like standing over a motorboat listening the the blablbablababalbalbalba sound that comes out of the water at the prop... anyone her this?? Id have posted earlier but I just could not articulate this sound in typing but I just thought today it sounded like that... maybe that makes sense? and if I unplug the passenger side vac line to that canister ( tiny vac line on both sides) the sound goes away.... my current code lineup is :

0135
0155
0150
0174
0134
0305

also had
1414
1417
1319 but they have gone away... for now lol

I did get a 0154 once too... and had a pending 1129 once...but Im fiddled with things since that and I don't see it anymore...

I know most are related to an O2 sensor which ill replace today but

I looked at it but didn't replace it... I don't see any leaks from it ... how would I test it?

It was cheap enough that I decided to just risk it. My SAI sounded like an exhaust leak and I changed the solenoid and it quieted down.

one thing I have noticed is that on passenger side O2 readings (USA) on my ultraguage Im getting 0.00 while SAI pump is on in initial morning startup for about 30 seconds... I also have open loop and throw codes 134-155 .. after 30 seconds all is well SAI goes off and loop closes and that O2 sensor start switching normally ...

That is the sound of exhaust backflowing from the engine into your SAI system.

Think about how that could happen for a moment.

It could only be a few things... Like the solenoid not closing the SAI valves and allowing two way air flow... Or the SAI valves getting gummed up and not opening/closing properly...

Usually the solenoid.

Thats what Im thinking... Im sure its an old part anyway so I ordered a new one... even though I don't get that code except once... maybe its just slightly functional just enough not to throw codes but occasionally....
