Default 03 Disco sounds like a TANK!!

I just bought an 03 Discovery w 86K miles on it and had to drive about 4 hours to get it back home. When I test drove it I only drove it up to about 40 mph and it was a little load but I thought it was the tires. When I get around 50+ it is so load it's almost unbearable. I think it's a wheel bearing or hub or something. When I swerve the truck to the left, the sound quickly goes away while the pressure is off the tire. Tires are new.
While I'm here (hope I'm not asking to many questions) I have a few more:
2. how hard is it to replace a transfer case seal...it is leaking
3. valve covers are leaking
4. Any good land rover mechanics in Charleston on this site that I can take this too for stuff I can't do (don't want to go to dealer, but would love to find someone who does this on the side).
THANKS A LOT GUYS!! I AM NEW TO THE SITE, SO FORGIVE ME IF I'VE ASKED SOMETHING THAT'S ALREADY BEEN POSTED.

You might want to contact who ever you bought that truck from for the first problem, tighten the v/c bolt and you leak may go away, if not looking at around $300. Which t/case seal are you talking about?
How mechanical are you, plan on doing the 90K service your self, look at my list on the top section of the Discovery section.
