Discovery II will crank but won't start
Would the distribution cable cause a spark when cranking, if you put a screw driver by it? I tried replacing the fuel pump, I checked voltage to the fuel pump it seems to be okay but I don't see a spark.
It turns on when I crank it. I first thought it was the fuel pump but I changed it out and it didn't work... so that's when I tested to see if there was a spark and there wasn't... So I changed out the distributor and it still won't turn on. I really have no idea what's wrong with it... About a month ago the SRS light started to come on, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it...
The fuel pump cut off will also kill the electric out put to
the coil pack on my 96.
I'm not sure if it works the same way on the LR's with distributor's.
