I spent about that much getting the "tick" diagnosed. Only piece of mind I got was that GPR got an engine core with new lifters, no exhaust leaks and a very clean valve train. Funny thing is the wife actually researched/found the slipped sleeve issue, which the mechanics didn't know anything about.

I do my own maintenance now.
