There should be applications on the pump, otherwise Shell Saver Card | United States
It is a debit card that links to your checking account, you use the card to pay for your gas and when the money comes out they take off the $.02 per gallon.
Sometimes they run promo's and you save $.05 per gallon.
Last year they ran a deal that if their NASCAR driver one the race you saved $.10 a gallon on the Wed. following the race.
I hate NASCAR so I never knew if he won or not.

We also have that deal here with Family Fare, spend $75 on groceries and save $.10 a gal on gas, spend $100 and save $.20 a gal.
The only problem, their gas is crap so I wont use it.
I do buy most of my gas at Costco, it is a average of $.12 a gal cheaper than the Shell station and they changed their formula so it is actually decent gas now.

Near me the Shell dealers do that with Kroger, and it builds up if you don't use it, I once got 80 cents per gallon discount because I had not purchased from them in like two months.
I spend $100 dollars in one transaction, you spend $100 in 4 transactions...it's still $100
Add the 20 gal of treated fuel stored in the shed we will have enough fuel to get us by for a short time in the event of a major event too.
Remember Hurricane Katrina?
No one could get gas, or cash from the banks or ATM...3/4 tank of fuel, 20 gal of treated fuel in storage and $1,000 cash in 10's and 20's in a safe and 500 rounds of ammo for the handgun, shotgun and .22 equals a month or more of survival for my family and I.
Spike, we must use the same book to plan a worst case scenario. I keep fresh water, food and ammo ready, and have a lock box in my truck with almost everything I need for short term survival, plus the usual spare oil, coolant and
Common parts that may go.
Common parts that may go.
I dont worry about breaking down, keep your truck in good repair and know how to McGyver things and you can get to where you want to go.
I also dont worry about carrying extra oil or coolant, there are gas stations, truck stops and marina's everywhere and all of those things can be "bought" for cheap.
