So pulled the bearing again and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but when I set the bearing down fluid came from between the bearing. Where the screw driver is pointing! Am I looking at a crap bearing? Also found that the vent tube is fine and is not clogged up.
Yeah, if it's leaking between two bearing pieces, flange and housing...could be bad hub...and not unheard of nowadays. But, l'm not seeing any o-ring in groove (arrow).
Both my hubs leaked from where you pointed out. On my hubs there was plenty of bearing packing grease on that flange, not just diff fluid. Again,I am pretty damn sure mine had to be at least partially, if not completely due to pressure buildup. But I have to admit, I think most of these hubs are pretty jenky.
Best bet on a leaky hub IMO, change them out and make sure vent hose is clear when you do it.
