Head job now oil leak and sai leak
Is that white Sheppard bad for the motor? I know the head gasket junk is and I don't want to screw anything else up. U haven't had a chance to check the oil pressure yet due to life, but I will soon. Ill check that PCv valve and then go from there. I really appreciate all the help guys.
White Shephard is not a "glue" like the head gasket temporary fixes. It basically just makes rubber seals swell slightly. So valve seals, rear main, front crank, valve cover gaskets - would all seal up just a little better. It does not harm the engine, but it may not fix the leak. Numerous posts of success with use, or reduction of leak.
I'd consider it a diagnostic tool, if it goes in and leak slows, it helps point to what will need to be done in the future, when time and funds can be scheduled for that.
Now the the head gasket bandaid in a bottle - yep, that stuff can seal a small leak, and the rest of the material sinks to the bottom of the radiator and combines with the sludge there to make mighty fine "concrete" and you need a new raduiator and thermostat.
