I'm about to dive into head gasket replacement any ideas?
I want to cover all my bases.
Do I have to send the heads out to be milled? What is the tolerances for milling?
Do I need new head bolts?
How will I know if a sleve has slipped?
Any and all ideas will be appriciated!!!

Yes, have machined..just enough to make sure dead flat..
Yes head bolts as they stretch..you can use studs and they don't stretch cost over twice as much.. Used on one of my disco's worked great..
You would have to pull the motor and have a machine shop check to see if they find any evidence of slipped sleeve.
To cover your base's make sure your first stop is a liquor store as it numbs the pain and aggravation of owning one of these piles...

Since you don't have a clue what is required, first, go down load a free copy of the Rave CD, shop manual and read it.
Don't go buy any parts until you know what has failed.
By the way, what has failed, what is leaking and from where, what year is it and how many miles on the engine?

I'm losing coolant and overheating. I have no external leaks but I keep overheating. We have checked the radiator and it is properly cooling. Pulled the water pump and it is fine too. The problem has gotten worse over the last month to the point that the truck overheats in about 15 minutes. Even on cool mornings.
I'm in Denver too, if you have any ideas it would be most appriciated.

I am in Boulder.
You most likely need to get the head gaskets replaced.
I had this exact same problem..
There is a shop in Boulder who will replace the heads with heads which have been milled and valves all refitted for $2,000.
Arapahoe Imports on Arapahoe in Boulder.
I decided to do it myself in the parking lot.
Key was to have a good car battery, an inverter and a light for night work.
You will need:
Head gaskets
Intake gasket
Head bolts.
You may need exhaust studs if you break one.
Here are some pictures I took in the parking lot.
This took me a good two weeks. I work pretty slowly the first time on the Discovery II..
