Intermittent No Start in Warm Weather...04

Dunno about the life of it, I was just using the link as an example.
It could be starter related as well, but normally on a LR if I have a no start or a weak start it's the starter cables, or dirty connections. I've only replaced one LR starter out of all the LR's I've owned and it was full of mud/rust.

I would check to see if you have power on the solenoid control wire (small wire) on the starter when it fails to crank. I'm not sure, but there is probably a fuse for just that wire. You could start by testing there because it will be much easier to get to. If you have power there, then check at the starter connection. If you don't have power anywhere, it's more than likely the ignition switch.

I went back and re-read this thread. One question I have is about the use of the term "turn over." It is sometimes used differently by different people on this forum. If you turn the key to the Start position and nothing happens then it is not the CKPS as I suggested earlier. If you turn the key to the Start position and you can hear the engine "turning over," that is the crankshaft is being turned by the starter motor, then it is likely the CKPS. One other outcome is that you may hear the solenoid clicking but the starter itself does not engage. Any sign of that?
Others have talked about the battery connections, but what about the connections on the starter motor itself. You could perhaps try removing the big cable attached to the starter and use a little emery paper or sandpaper to clean up that connection. Same for the other connectors attached to the starter.

When I say engine doesn't turn over I mean, I turn the key and nothing happens at all. Not solenoid noise either.
Being that it only happens in warm weather and has been happening for a couple years would tell me its not a connection issue. Besides, I did check all connections.
I haven't bought the relay yet, but I'm going to do that first.
