He was being an ars and being sarcastic. I would suggest downloading the RAVE which is a repair manual. Also download the owners manual. Read them over so you can get familiar with your vehicle. Spend some time on here searching and reading some of these threads. Lots of great info on here.

Owning a D2 you will need to learn to be a shade tree mechanic if you want to keep these things operating. Many users on here started not knowing anything about cars and have become quite proficient at wrenching.

how do you check that? Could it be a coil issue or would the coils make it just die like that?

Fuel rail has a shrader valve attached to it. You can put a pressure tester on there and check
You can see valve sticking out the back

Very simple. Hook a scan tool up and check rpm while cranking. if you have rpm its a fuel problem.

Well thank you guys for all your help. I let them tow it to the dealer today. I wish my hands were twenty years younger but my osteoarthritis in both hands makes it almost impossible to do much wrenching these days. I will certainly give you a follow up when I hear what they have to say. Again thanks

Believe it or not..
Can just die if the O2's are acting up.
Or the SPEED SENSOR is acting up.

This happens at interstate speed sometimes even.
Jerks and sputters.

Put a code reader on the OBDII and check codes.
Even no check engine light - there can be PENDING codes.
