I left the pipe on the front of the lower intake, it can stay on when you remove the lower intake.

As for the sai and upper intake, the sai tubes flex, I removed the 2 nuts holding each and pulled them off the studs, 6 bolts hold the upper intake on, and the coil bracket needs loosened or removed first, but as said, an easy job.

For me, there was flex in the SAI stuff but it wouldn't budge another 1/8" to clear the studs that are on the upper IM -- which is why i had to unbolt that coolant pipe.

 

If the studs are your problem, slap on two nuts back to back and then remove the stud. As long as you get one side of studs off you can angle the intake out no problem. With the intake out then remove the studs & just use bolts from then on.

With A/C deleted, this is a "free" mod. I think its a no brainer. I'll just need some wiring extensions for the engine harness and some brackets, and good to goooo
