Any elaboration on "going south"? The same is true on my 99 DII. First the right back-seat door and now the right passenger. I'm going to pull out the switches in both doors and give them a look-see. Broken connections? Short? Blown motor? I'm going to take a stab at fixing them myself, first. Haven't priced new ones, yet...but it is a LR, so I'm not optimistic.
Have any of you had problems with door locks malfunctioning that you've been able to fix yourself?
-C.

I have had one l/r actuator, that when cold, it takes to hits with the remote to raise the lock button all the way up, and I live with it.
The switch is rarely ever the problem. Sometimes just doing in a lubing the actuator will fix the probem, some time it requires replacement.
For $95 you can buy good guaranteed used actuators at, http://www.roverlandparts.com/doorlatchactuators_1.aspx

I just took my rear door apart because I could not open it without turning the key to the left while pulling the handle. I discovered the broken spring. I can not find the link to the guy that sells the springs, anyone have it handy?
