Default Misfire

I have a 2004 Disco and my wife drives it as her daily driver. So a couple of days ago she ran it low on gas and now the check engine light is on and shows a misfire in 1 and 6 cyinders. To me it felt like maybe some bad gas, so I ran some sea foam through 1/2 of tank of gas and then filled it back up and seems to run better, but still is missing. I did change the plugs after I ran the sea foam through and they were pretty nasty, some were fouled and some were missing electrodes. Any help here would be grateful. Thanks Darin

You are most likely looking at new wires, # 6 is a common one to burn out. Might want to consider ordering a set of 8 mm Magnacor wires, about the best you will find for a Rover and half the price of new factory wires.

I found some for $87.50 from ultrarev.com, that's the best price I could find, unless somebody knows where there is a better deal than that? Anyway thanks for the input and quick response, I'll get those ordered and try them out.

Are those the 8mm Magnacor or the 7's, it makes a difference, you want the 8's to help with the excessive engine compartment temps.
