do tell as my SRS light has recently come on. Its been on and off for a few months and every time I go to take it in, it goes out!

i had my srs on for years. had it check at the dealer and they were only able to tell me that the systems was working and it had a glitch in the computer drive. 800.00 to replace, just for parts. It is not a rare problem. A lot of other that have had the same problem, it began with a battery disconnect, or discharge that had to jumped off. If the light is flashing it may be worth it to find out why. a flashing light in a rover is something that should be checked. hope it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff

The srs system is very sensitive to voltage resistance check all the connectors (yellow wires) behind the bags and the clock spring behind the steering wheel and clean then apply dielectric grease sparingly to them more then likely will fix
