Patched in a section of brake line from the parts store. Works great, and it's nice to have it back on the road. Now to find the time to get the new sound system fully installed

New radio installed! Ended up just rewiring the whole truck with new speaker wire and bypassing the factory amp and radio wiring. Got a kit with 4 speakers and a head unit for a whopping $25 on clearance at Wally World, and I'm shocked to say it actually sounds better than the atrocious factory system (though that's a pretty low bar). Plus, I now have Bluetooth. Win win.

Steel rear bumper installed. This is one of those el-cheapo eBay units for under $300 shipped from China. Actually fit decently, and seems to be well made.

That's one of the bad units. Note how it goes up around the corners. You don't seem to have finishers there so I guess it's not an issue for you.

Ah, I could see that being an issue if you had the finishers there. I really don't like how they look though, and they were gone when I bought the car so the rubber I used to cover the area seems good enough to me. The bumper seems decent so long as you don't have the finishers, so I'm happy with it. Far better than the blown apart plastic on the factory one.

Towed 5300 lbs 3 hours without issue the other day. Didn't crack 210 degrees once, even at full throttle up some steep hills. These trucks do a shockingly great job when towing - the transmission programming in S is fantastic and you don't get pushed around anywhere near as much as expected given how short the wheelbase is. Yeah, it's quite slow, and it gets sketchy above 60 mph or so since the front end is so light with all that weight back there, but overall it's pretty great.

As much as it pains me to do, I've decided to list this fantastic machine for sale. I no longer drive or use it enough to justify keeping it, and life changes mean I need to sell a car or two. Full listing is linked below - feel free to tell me I'm an idiot for selling, ask questions, etc
