UPDATE IV.

I checked the Ohms again. 1.03 with the grease on the bad one. I found another sensor wire from the hub I took off. 1.162 in steady state and it doesn't change. When I had that one on there before I was getting the error in the diagnostic reader for wheel speed.

Maybe I should buy a new sensor wire? That would be my third. IDK

Ohm meter reads analog resistance, abs sensor is a digital device that creates a digital signal. All the ohm meter does is tell you the coil is present and wire is unbroken. Tells you nothing about digital signal it produces. Swap known good with bad and test drive.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I finally got all the lights out. Like I said I did a pin swap and it followed the wire. I ordered ANOTHER ONE and it fixed it.

Unreal., three brand new wieres before it works. Well at least i have all the lights out.

BTW did 3 amigos a while back.

Congratulations, and thank you posting the outcome. Too many threads are left dangling.

But I have a question - How were you able to figure out how to remove the pins from the connector that plugs into the SLABS?

I tried and tried a year and a half ago but could not figure it out. Even Jim in the Atlantic British video talks about splicing into the wires just short of the SLABS.

@TimInNova recently had a similar thing happen. Had fault code on sensor that needed replacing. Bought two new ones and thought he would be pre-emptive and replace the non-faulty one because it was old. New out of the box was defective, had to put the original back in there. I on the other hand had no problems with the cheapo Amazon one I recently bought.

I tried to make a tool to push the pins in on the connector. Didn't work 😪

Bought a kit on Amazon that had the exact tool I needed.
