if you wanna stop overheating in its tracks...ditch the LR cooling system and switch to a inline thermostat!!!!!

i've dropped 20+ degree's in idle and operating temp. using a 180' thermostat

That is actually a BMW cooling system, thats what they switched to after BMW bought them, as well as Bosch engine management.
But I do agree, ditch the overly complicated BMW cooling system and go with the good old inline t-stat kind, its worked for 100 years, if it aint broke dont fix it.
