I found a place that has the 4.6 rebuilt with the upgrades near San Diego: https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/...402074352.html

But 5 grand is steep, what do you guys think?

If you can verify his credentials that's a pretty fair build price. On par with any legitimate engine builder.

Ended up buying a new lady. 2004 Discovery II w/ SAI (california)

92,000 miles
$3500 (fender bender in the front, checked it out theres a few bent things nothing bad)
Clean!
