Default New disco, couple questions

I recently purchased a 2003 Disco SE with 80K at a price I couldn’t pass up. It is out of the death VIN range and has been well maintained
Im having the front driveshaft rebuilt and the shop said I would need to provide the parts. Is there a kit for this? What parts do I need?

Im also looking at ditching the airbags and putting new springs and shocks all around. Right now the truck sees mostly highway miles and plan to do some light off roading in the future. With that said, Im thinking of going with a 1-2” lift. I don’t want to go too extreme and want to maintain a smooth ride quality on road. Recommendations? Ive been looking at this one LINK Then, do I just need to get the SLS conversion kit, shocks and springs to complete?

Like I said, this is mostly a highway cruiser that will see some light off road. My background is all german sport coupes, so I really don’t know what Im looking at or what brands to stay away from.
I appreciate the advice and thanks for this great forum!

a good drive shaft shop should have the parts in stock, call around.

most people on here like OME lifts...once you buy a lift you'll just need coil buckets for the rear..I think they're @ $18/per side.

Default Check the "stickies"

the sticky "write ups and how to's" has the driveshaft rebuild parts listed, I believe...
