Still scratching my head...how come no packing slip in this damn thing.

In the Victor Reinz Kit there are 8 Large O-rings and 8 Smaller O-rings. Plus, one smaller o-ring with a flange on it.

What the hell are they? I don't see anywhere they would go.

 

The small ones should have 16, 2 per fuel injector.

The rest, let us know once you figure it out.

 

Nope. Not the fuel injectors o-rings, I already set them aside. There's others in there more meatier than the fuel injector o-rings.

 

i still have 2 sets of those left over. came with elring and vr sets. no idea. i just assumed they were for a different application

 

Same here, I figured they might be for a D1 with the GEMS engine. Definitely didn't use any of it beyond the injector O-rings.

 

Not GEMS, 14CUX. They're for the earlier motors. One kit, all years.

I got the same Reinz kit for free when I got my 04 Disco with a slipped liner.

I was in the same boat being miffed the kit didn't come with some kind of key/documentation on what is what. Almost done with a complete rebuild and I've still got a bag with a ton of seals in it hoping I didn't miss something....
